APTIM-DLA Norfolk Building 280 Stair design

Design of two exterior stairs for access to upper floor of a hazardous materials storage warehouse. Design included steel structure designed to extend from the ground level to the second floor level. Stairs were supported on piles independent from the building structure and spanned over a continuous canopy to the exterior wall of the warehouse. Atlas was the structural sub-consultant on the project.
