Neuse River Middle School Roof Design Consultation and Admin Services

Neuse River Middle School was designed as a prototype for three middle schools for Wake County Public Schools System. Skinner Lamm & Highsmith Architects brought in Atlas Engineering to design the 130,000 sf low-sloped, two-ply modified bitumen roof systems over light-weight insulating concrete.

Atlas consulted on the overall roof layout and expectations for the roof system. Our Register Roof Consultants assisted in defining the main system components, perimeter conditions and constructions, general detailing and anticipated transitions between the roof and adjacent exterior finishes. Atlas also provided construction administration assistance, performed site visits during roof installation and final inspection at completion.
